I wrote this in one sitting.
No plan. No audience in mind. Just a day that needed somewhere to go.
The lyrics came from a stream of consciousness — questions about direction, the body, the fast lane passing by, a sentence someone said to me that landed wrong. I gave the words to a song because that felt like the only honest container for them.
Indigo is that color between blue and dark. Not quite one thing. Not quite another.
That's where this came from.
