Infused (drunken) candy apples Tutorial
1st step clean mini liquor bottles throughly Insert them into the apples and let stand or release any juices that may come from the apples take a paper towel and wipe the access juices continue to let stand upright 2nd steps mix the candy mix Candy apple recipe 4 cup sugar 2cup Karo 1 cup water Mix together and insert thermometer Let it reach 300 remove from stove Add flavoring of choice (optional) For black candy apples add a 2 drops of yellow food coloring gel 2 drops of white and mix together then add a heaping amount of black from coloring gel you can get the black I used in the video from Hobby Lobby mix well and dip each infused apple holding it by the bottle Turing it lightly into the mix shake off the access mix but don’t shake to hard (you don’t want the bottle to detach from the apple. Turn upside down for a few seconds and place the apple down on May or tray 3rd Step: applying the bow or what now or ribbons you may be using 4Step: adding gold you can get the gold from Roxy an Rich and The SugarArts which is on IG I mixed the two but it’s very pretty without mixing.
