Inline Freestyle Random Start (READ DESCRIPTION)

Q: What is this for? - To train your reactivity for races/timed runs in competitions - It's an accurate remake of the official random start used in inline freestyle competitions But it can be used for basically any sport that implies a random start (WARNING: In inline freestyle the delay from set to start is a random decimal time between 1.25 and 3, it varies between sports) - Down you have the python source code , you can also make it manual, so it only launches the start procedure when you want to! You can also only download the sound assets - This idea came up to me 3 years ago, when I was doing a training camp with the current world champ in skatecross: He told us to train using a video "BMX random gate" which did the same repeating random start Thing is, for BMX it's like between 2 to 6 seconds, and in inline skating it's ~1.25 to 3s So I wanted to make a version adapted to my sport, and now it's possible with my coding and editing skills haha, made originally for personnal use but I guess it's worth sharing! ----------------------------------------------------------- VOLUME BOOSTED VERSION: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t40ontZIlPw ----------------------------------------------------------- Here's what I could gather analizing competitions: - On your marks - Set = 3.90 to 4.05s, probably due to software innacuracy - Set - Brr → Random float number between 1.25 and 3.00 as I could gather ----------------------------------------------------------- Sound files were taken from competition footages and post processed with Davinci Resolve Fairlight to get a sound somewhat clean - You can download them from the source code assets below ----------------------------------------------------------- Made with python, using pygame! 1.
