Today we visited the one and only Al-Jawhara date store in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Abdul was kind enough to show us around his store and tell us a little bit about the pricing and origin. Dates come from (you could've guessed) the Date Palm tree and grow mostly in warmer climates at temperatures around the mid 90s (Fahrenheit).
Towards the end Mr. Abdul gives us a quick run down of how to make classic Arabic coffee with ingredients such as Cardamom, Qassim, Arabica Beans, Cloves, and Saffron. All these mixed together give you a true taste of the middle east - and all that's missing is some Saudi Arabian dates... and he sells them!
