INSIDE WW2 OPERATION DYNAMO DUNKIRK MUSEUM

Enjoy a walkaround of the amazing Operation Dynamo Museum in Dunkirk, France - an historic building packed with amazing items from one of the most incredible operations of WW2. Located just 250 metres from the evacuation beach and famous East Mole, the museum displays thousands of period objects, weapons, vehicles, uniforms, and maps, with an easy-to-follow timeline of events. As you journey through the 900 square metre museum you are taken through the defence and bombing of the city and port in early 1940, the 'Miracle of Dunkirk' rescue, the impact on civilians, and finally the liberation at the end of the war in 1945. Join us as we reveal some of the must see exhibits and the amazing stories behind them - including a British truck found on the beach nearby!
