What is the perfect moisture to be harvesting corn at? Should we be harvesting corn at higher moistures to eliminate phantom yield loss? Over the past couple years at the PTI Farm, we've taken four hybrids of corn and harvested them at four different moistures to determine where we get the highest return when considering yield differentials and any drying costs (we measured both commercial drying rates and on-farm drying rates).
