They are available for RG 59 and RG 6 standard coaxial cables, also available for Plenum cables and in right angle connectors as well. These new connectors feature a clear 360° visual indication that the coaxial cable has been correctly and completely inserted into the connector. This clear window on the connector gives the installer confidence the connector is ready to be compressed properly with no guesswork. Unlike connectors that use a sliding center pin contact as an indicator the cable is inserted properly, the gold plated center pin in the insight connector is fixed. The center pin will not fall out of the connector during transport and cannot be over inserted. The new pin design allows a wide range of center conductors to be used from 23 to 18 guage solid conductors so fewer connectors are needed for specialty and application-specific cables. The large funneled entry will easily help guide the center conductor into center pin. Ensuring good clean connections between the center conductor and the pin every time. They also feature our patented RTQ compression sleeve that allows our RG – 6 compression connectors exceptional cable range even on RG – 6 quad coaxial cables. The 360° compression design keeps the round dielectric’s geometry intact and keeps the 75 Ohm impedance matching to a maximum, resulting in better return loss and lower insertion loss. The connectors are engineered to have outstanding RF performance up to 3 GHz. Many of us know BNC’s all have a spring-loaded design and can be easily connected or disconnected with a simple push and quarter turn of the wrist. The new head design with extended travel range allows the BNC to mate smoother and easier with many variations of female BNC connectors found on CCTV cameras, A/V equipment and instrumentation.
