Install a Window | Box Truck Conversion
Today we're cutting more holes in the box! It's time to add a window. I decided to go with emergency exit style windows because they hinge out from the top allowing them to remain open in the rain without letting water inside. Take a look and see how I did it. Throughout my 5 previous conversions, I have focused on building, only sharing highlights on Instagram Stories…THAT STOPS TODAY! For the first time, Nomad Brad is actually documenting his process of converting a box truck into a tiny home. This will be a unique series for 2 reasons: 1) I have tons of experience and unique ideas after spending 5 years living in vehicles and fully converting 5 different rigs. 2) This will not be a video where we complete the full conversion in a shop, then move in. I am doing this build with the intention to live in it ASAP. The order in which I choose to build systems will be based on what is required to start living in my new home on wheels. This will be great insight for folks looking to get on the road ASAP.
