Distrobox is a tool that lets you run other distro's on top of your original distro using containers. This makes it so you can install any distro's packages on any other distro, including with bin and .desktop passthrough. Some of the things this allows you to do is use the AUR on other distros, run IDEs inside a different distro's environment, and even install programs that only target one specific distro (like Davinci Resolve) on an environment they are supposed to run on. The possibilities are endless with Distrobox.
