Dell Precision 3541 comes with a preinstalled NVMe drive.
Unlike models with 6-cell batteries, this model has a 4-cell battery leaving room for an extra SATA drive. but it requires a SATA adapter cable, which I bought online along with a bracket caddy that didn't match my laptop, however I managed to make fit with a few simple hacks.
Commands used:
* sudo smartctl -x /dev/sdb
* sudo hdparm -Tt /dev/sdb
Note: Identify your new drive using something like `lsblk`, and use it instead of `/dev/sdb` in the commands above.
