Installing and configuring Openstack Cinder on Controller Nodes

In this video we demonstrate the installation and configuration of Cinder API server cinder-api, Cinder volume manager and scheduler on the Contrller Node. Cinder API server cinder-api is a WSGI-server running inside of Apache2. This service accepts and process the REST API requests from users and other components of OpenStack. Cinder volume manager runs on each node to which ceph storage is attached. It manages the storage, by creating, maintaining and removing virtual volumes and exporting these volumes so that they can be used by a compute node. Cinder scheduler directs requests to create a virtual volume to an appropriate storage node.
