In this video I document our method of installation for our Pella Impervia Casement Windows. Impervia windows are a fiberglass window and an excellent value window. They aren’t cheap, but they’re worth the price you pay for them. We used a combination of a fluid applied material and zip tape to accomplish a high quality waterproof barrier around the window opening. The fluid applied barrier we used is a product by Prosoco called R Guard. It’s best applied in warmer environments as the colder it is, the harder it is to spread.
