I've been looking for a simple solution to move a stationary oven. Lucky for me I was contacted by Spacecare and asked if I would be interested in trying out one of their products. When I found out what it was I was hopeful my search was over. The product I'm speaking of is a SPACECARE Workbench Retractable Stepdown Caster kit.
In a nutshell, you mount these 2'' from the floor then step on the risers to raise your workbench, table, other heavy item 3/4" off the floor for easy rolling. Once you get it into place you simply lower your object back to the floor. Simple. Simpler still, this kit comes with the quick mounting plates so you can completely remove the wheels if you wish. Pretty nice.
