This short video, probably created for a presentation to the District Board of Trustees in 1994, offers an overview of the services provided by the College’s Learning Resource Centers, or libraries, which offered over 123,000 unique book and media items across their four locations. It highlights the library’s online catalogue, LINCC, which connects the local catalog with that of the state’s colleges and universities; the interlibrary loan department; and accommodations for students with disabilities. The video offers a look behind the scenes at the library’s technical services department, which catalogs and processes items purchased by the library, as well as a look at the computer equipment available in the labs and the career resource center at the Urban Resource Center, a special library focused on all aspects of the career process. It closes with a look at the work done by the production studio at South Campus to create multimedia tutorials and videos as learning aids.
