Interlocking Gatefold Card

Instructions for making a beautiful Interlocking card with easy-to-follow instructions. Details: Stamp Set: Blessings of Home Bundle Cardstock: • Bumblebee – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored 2 1/8” from each end; Label; • White – 2 pc. 2 ¼” x 3 ¾”; 3/8” x 3 ¾”; 5 ¼” x 4” (inside); • DSP – 2 pc. 2” x 3 ½”; Ink: Black; Blends: L & D Daffodil; L & D Melon Mambo ; L & D Old Olive; Accessories: Hippo Dies; Dimensionals; liquid glue; Instructions: 1. Fold the Bumblebee CS on the 2 score lines to make the gate fold card base. 2. Adhere the DSP to the white rectangles. 3. Adhere the rectangles to the card front – one to the left gate and one to the right gate, making sure the spacing is pleasing to the eye. **Make sure you only add adhesive to the part that adheres to the gate! 4. Die cut and colour the flowers for the front. Adhere that to the Bumblebee label using dimensionals. 5. Stamp the sentiment on the narrow white strip, trim the ends at an angle as shown and adhere over the flower stem using a dimensional at each end. 6. Adhere ONLY the bottom of the label to the lower gate – the top is loose! 7. To close the card, slide the left gate in behind the flower label but over the right gate.
