In this tutorial series, Isaac Oster applies many of the concepts covered in his Introduction to Python in Maya tutorial series. He uses several Maya commands, string functions, nested loops, and custom functions.
The project compares two similar pieces of obj geometry - one is a clone of the other, but has had many faces deleted at random. The code analyzes both meshes to learn which faces have been deleted from the one mesh, and applies the same deletions to the other mesh.
This particular task doesn't have a direct purpose in the real world, but utilizes important techniques and strategies commonly used in tech art tool creation.
