In the Intermission, investigative journalist Doug Roth (Joseph Anthony) interviews recently retired costumed adventurer Adrian Veidt (Sebastian Ganz) at his antarctic retreat Karnak on July 12th, 1975, for an exclusive article for the American weekly magazine Nova Express - "After the Masquerade: Superstyle and the Art of Humanoid Watching" - exploring Veidt's background, philosophies and politics.
Doug Roth is portrayed by Joseph Anthony.
