We get a call about a furnace with intermittent operation issues. Using our understanding of the furnace ignition and run cycles as well as the home owners' description of the problem we determine that there is an issue withe the flame sensor or control.
While checking the flame sensor itself, we find some oxidation film on the prob itself which was interfering with flame rectification.
We'll be going over some trouble shooting and tips and tricks to find and resolve the problem.
