To find the internal resistance and EMF of a cell, you need to set up a circuit with a cell, resistor, and ammeter in series. A volt meter needs to be connected in parallel with the cell. Plot a graph of resistance against 1/current so that the gradient is equal to the EMF and y-intercept gives you the internal resistance.
