We had a great session today with attendance where we discuss the interview process.
We divided our topic into the 3 different sections which are Recruiter calls, Soft Skill questions, and Technical Questions.
Here are some important points from the meeting:
Recruiter Call:
- Reading job descriptions and searching about the company before the interview.
- Being a friend with the Recruiter.
- Learn what they are looking for and direct your answers in that way.
- Avoid only yes&no answers.
- Show your interest and be excited
- Follow up with recruiters after the interview.
Soft Skill:
- Leadership skills (Guiding the team, Choosing the tool, Coaching, Mentoring )
- Communication Skills
- Talking clearly
- Do not ask to repeat the questions multiple times.
- Good vibes, Eye Contact, Body Language
- Interpersonal Skills
- Listening well
- Positive attitude
- Work ethic & Self-motivation
- Take responsibility
- Take the initiative to start the new things
- Teamwork
- Collaborate & cooperate
- Conflict Management
- Don't cause conflict
- Do not make drama
- Avoid a win-lose philosophy
- Look for helpful solution
- Use a win-win philosophy
Technical Interviews:
- Be talkative while solving problems.
- We need to be ready for the examples
- Explain what you are doing
- Read your solution line by line, if you don't know what to say.
