Born in 1982, she gained recognition for her distinctive storytelling and artistic style. Some of her most well-known works include Chiggers (2008) and Mercury (2010), both of which explore themes of friendship, identity, and coming-of-age. Larson has also adapted and illustrated A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel (2012), which received critical acclaim. In addition to her original works, she has written for mainstream comics, including Batgirl for DC Comics. More recently, she created the Goldie Vance series and the All Summer Long trilogy, both of which are praised for their engaging characters and heartfelt storytelling. She is here with us to talk about herself, her secret hobby and her new book,Very Bad at Math.
