The wait is over. The masters of Gothic Doom, DRACONIAN, are finally back.
The new chapter in this journey is called ‘In Somnolent Ruin’ and arrives on May 8th, released by Napalm Records. Prepare for one of the most visceral and personal records in the band’s entire discography: a dreamlike journey comprising nine tracks, where Anders Jacobsson’s poetic lyricism guides us down unexpected paths.
Interestingly, this album ended up finding its own destiny. Without any prior plans, Plato’s theory of the soul emerged organically during the creative process, becoming the central theme of this work.
The band returns to Portugal as one of the main attractions at Under The Doom in September.
