Then we will discuss how these concepts are used using Git in Xcode. I will then walk you through how to set up an account on GitHub, create your first repository then perform your first commit and finally how to push the code to Github. About the Speaker: Brendan is an IT professional with over 20 years of experience and has been working in the education sector for nearly 25 years. He is the owner of Swift Kids, an organization with the goal of enriching kids lives and preparing them for the future. He has taught Swift on behalf of Apple and Hackergal and now his own company to a wide variety of audiences ranging from middle school students, grad students, and teachers. He is one of the organizers of SwiftTO, Canada’s biggest event dedicated to the Swift programming language. Brendan also runs NSCoderTO, Toronto’s largest user group for iOS and macOS developers. He first learned to program using Apple Basic on an Apple II+ when he was 12. He also enjoys photography, fishing, playing Dungeons and Dragons and exploring the outdoors with his daughter.
