The WebGPU standard is being touted as the next generation API for creating GPU-accelerated graphics on the web (and in plenty of other places, too). This video walks through a simple example of WebGPU in action, explains how it's both more powerful but more complex than its predecessors, like WebGL and OpenGL, and how third-party libraries will be the most likely way to work with it going forward.
