This is the step by step tutorial of the new OpenIPC Digital Image Stabilisation technology. The algorith is running directly on the OpenIPC cameras, a capability previously reserved for commercial cameras only. As usual it’s completely FREE and open source. There are still many glitches and bugs to fix. Proceed with your own risk. Step 1: flash the latest openipc ssc338q urllc firmware with the latest Companion. Step 2: enable on both drone and groundstation, the OSD GS Rendering and reboot both devices. Step 3: disable adaptive link and reboot drone. Step 4: set mlink:2000, MCS index:1, bitrate:4000, TXpower: depending on the wifi adapter, set it to maximum. Step 5: with a network cable connect the OpenIPC camera to a computer directly. Open a CMD (Command Prompt Window), navigate to where all the files are extracted and run one by one the following commands: plink -ssh [email protected] -pw 12345 killall majestic "&&" rm /usr/bin/majestic pscp -scp -pw 12345 venc [email protected]:/usr/bin pscp -scp -pw 12345 venc.json [email protected]:/etc plink -ssh [email protected] -pw 12345 dos2unix /etc/venc.json "&&" chmod +x /usr/bin/venc pscp -scp -pw 12345 libmi_sys.so libmi_ive.so libmi_divp.so libmi_rgn.so libmi_iqserver.so libmi_shadow.so libcam_os_wrapper.so libmi_vif.so libmi_isp.so libcus3a.so libispalgo.so libmi_vpe.so libmi_sensor.so libmi_venc.so libmi_ipu.so libcam_fs_wrapper.so [email protected]:/usr/lib Step 6: SSH to the camera. Step 7: edit the /usr/bin/wifibroadcast file in the start_telemetry section and add this line as shown in the video. size=$(yaml-cli -g .video0.size) Step 8: edit the /etc/init.d/S95majestic, replace majestic with venc and add 80 in the DAEMON_ARGS as shown in the video.
