This is done within SAM Broadcaster by creating what are called categories. Basically, categories are directories that you create within SAM Broadcaster that identify the type of content within them. Let’s say for example that you wanted to run a radio station that played several genres of music, for example: Pop, Rock and Hip Hop. You would create three categories labeled Pop, Rock and Hip Hop and copy your Pop, Rock and Hip Hop songs within those respective category directories. You might have pre-recorded shows, commercials, station IDs, etc. Well, you can create categories for them. You can create as many categories as you like. The real power of creating categories within SAM Broadcaster is not only in organizing your music and other content, creating categories lets you easily schedule which category and what time you want the contents of those categories played.
