A brief introduction to database theory and SQL using MySQL DDL and DML examples. We’ll look at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Boyce-Codd Normal Form (1NF, 2NF, 3NF and BCNF) and functional dependencies. We’ll also look at ER diagrams, with one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many cardinality examples
