A brief introduction to digital logic design course. The hierarchy of the processor in the mobile phone, laptop etc. In the next level we have register transfer. Inside of the register we have gate level circuit and in each Gate we have the semiconductor devices, the transistors. let me give a simple analogy, if you assume processor like a living room, inside that room we have cupboards which are analogous to registers, and in the cupboards we have pencil box with pencils, erasers etc. Here a Gate is like a pencil box and the pencils are like the semiconductor transistors.
