Equatio works where you work. The Google Workplace, Microsoft 365, and popular LMS’ such as Canvas, Schoology, D2L, and more Equatio features built in prediction which allows users to make math, formulas, and symbols easy to create in their workspace. Spell what you are looking for by simply typing the first couple letters, and Equatio will display a dropbox which will allow you to use the arrow keys or your mouse to select the item you want to make. From simple items, to much more complex, Equatio makes it very easy to make your math digital. To view the Alt Text which is accessible by screen readers, simply hover over the math with your mouse or right click on the Equatio image and select ‘Alt Text’ which will display the spoken text. Many users need to visualize their math so they can clearly see equations, functions and more on a coordinate plane. Our integration with Desmos’s graphing calculator makes this easy. Click on the Graph Editor to get stated and simply enter the math you wish to make on the plane. When finished click Insert Graph. Equatio can even help those who wish to draw or use a stylus to make their math. Simply annotate in the left side box, and Equatio will recognize most handwritten math and be able to turn it digital on the right hand side. Students who struggle to type or those who have difficulty holding onto a pencil or stylus will enjoy speaking the math using our speech to math functionality located within our Speech Input tool. Click the record button and say the math audibly to have it turn from spoken math to digital math. The screenshot reader is a phenomenal tool which allows you to hear the audio playback of the Math/STEM content. Simply select the tool and pull a box around the math you wish to hear and let go of your mouse. This tool works in any collaborative area you are working or anywhere on the internet. Finally, get those creative juices flowing as Mathspace allows you to create engaging, instructional content for your classroom. Design a space that your students will enjoy completing, and then share the link with those students, to receive their own copy, and have them turn that in, when they have completed it. Teachers can then score and provide feedback to the assignments. This is just a fraction of the things you can do in our product. Equatio was built on UDL principles. There is more than one way to solve a math problem. We can’t wait to hear how Equatio has changed your life and your daily instruction for the better.
