Introduction to Multi-Omics Analysis with the FAIR Data Cube (FDCube)
X-omics FAIR Data Cube Webinar Recording 🔍 Introduction to Multi-Omics Analysis with the FAIR Data Cube (FDCube) The FAIR Data Cube (FDCube) is an open-source infrastructure developed by the Netherlands X-omics initiative, designed to make -omics data FAIR at the source, promote data reuse and integrate various layers of -omics data. This demonstration session introduces you to the FDCube and its potential for data analysis. This session is a preliminary to our hands-on workshop coming up in April and covers: Introduction of the FAIR Data Cube by Peter-Bram ‘t Hoen • What is the FDCube? • Problems it aims to solve • Benefits of using the FDCube Components and Interactions by Xiaofeng Liao • Overview of FDC components • How these components interact • Demonstration on setting up the FDC and loading data and metadata Demonstrations by Firdaws Badmus • Background of the Trusted World of Corona (TWOC) project • Onboarding and querying datasets from the TWOC project • Example analysis workflow combining TWOC datasets with other FAIR Data Sources
