Introduction to Response surface methodology

Response surface methodology is a specialized DOE technique. RSM is a combination of statistical and optimization methods, used to model and optimize designs. RSM comprises a group of statistical techniques for empirical model building and model exploitation. By careful design and analysis of experiments, it seeks to relate a response, or output variable, to the levels of a number of predictors, or input variables, that affect it.
