About this video: This introduction and walkthrough video shows how to use the IPscreener platform to create and refine a full search case. The tutorial covers each step of the workflow, from adding your input to reviewing results and generating reports. We begin by creating a search case, either by writing text directly or by uploading documents or photos. The platform then provides an instant first analysis from the global innovation library, showing relevant results from the patent landscape. In the results view, you can explore the documents found, sorted by relevance. You can switch between the three default optimisation modes: Background - which gives a broad overview of related technologies Similar - which focuses on documents close to your idea Noise - which reduces results that are less relevant The left-hand menu shows the world activity map based on your search input, as analysed by the AI. Here you can rename the search case, review the input text, add keywords to be highlighted in different colours (with AI suggestions already provided), and prepare a final summary of your findings. The video also demonstrates how to iterate on your search case. By adjusting the input or adding manual parameters, the AI refines the search and identifies additional relevant documents based on your interactions and rankings. We walk through the full patent view as well, showing how to read marked-up sections, add comments, and request AI-assisted analyses such as summaries or differences and similarities.
