C programming language is a high level language, which is structured, machine independent and platform independent. In 1972 Dennis Ritchie invented C in Bell laboratory. The main feature added in C compared to all other previous languages are the concept of data types. Thereafter in 1983 American National Standard Institute assign a standard for C and is approved by ISO.
