A demo of some new work in progress visuals using LightSynth.
New features on show in this demo include screen-space reflections, global fog and screen dirt.
I've also implemented a 'side-chain' feature, which allows one visual element in the scene to receive input from multiple sources - the 'side-chained' input will suppress the other inputs, taking priority. This allows the big cymbal hits to take over elements of the screen momentarily, giving focus to the event.
LightSynth is a real-time generative music visualisation app developed in Unity that responds to MIDI messages to create visuals that are tightly synchronised with the musical performance.
