The video demonstrates the implementation of a virtual instrument for real time power quality processing and classification purposes. The signal features are extracted by using the discrete wavelet transform and then implemented in the MATLAB software. The classification is afterwards performed by using the Random forest algorithm and implemented both in MATLAB and LabVIEW. The LabVIEW application that can detect the power quality disturbances is finally presented.
