iPhone 6 Plus Touch IC issue is a common fault on majority iPhone 6 Plus.
Steps For Repair: (This is what we use on Hakko FR-810 Hot Air Station)
1. Remove chip with temp at 380 degrees air flow 8.
2. Apply flux and low melt solder to pads.
3. Clean pads with solder wick and flat tip soldering iron.
4. Replace or reball old chip. I always reball the new chips with 0.2mm leaded solder balls.
5. Position chip and apply 350 degrees air flow 1.
6. When in position increase air flow to 3 or 4 until chip moves into position.
7. Once in position clean area with isopropyl alcohol.
8. Test to make sure it is working properly.
