IPv4 Subnetting # 2
Internet Protocol Version 4 Subnetting (IPv4 Subnetting) In this video, we will go over another example of IPv4 Subnetting. In this example, we have Class C default subnet mask, but we need only 20 available IP addresses. As we know already, Class C default subnet mask gives us 254 available IP addresses that we can assign to the computers (Hosts) on the local area network (LAN), so we need to break this large network (Default Subnet Mask) into smaller sub-networks (Classless Subnet Mask) in order to have less IP addresses per subnet (CIDR). 00:00:00 - Intro 00:00:10 - IPv4 Class C Subnetting - Video 2 00:02:08 - Formula to find the number of Hosts and number of Subnets 00:07:20 - See it in action 00:13:40 - Video Recap 00:14:16 - Outro #Private_vs_Public_IP_Address #IPv4_Public_IP_Address ----------------------------------------------------------------- ▶ SUBSCRIBE for more TUTORIAL UPDATES: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNtgOjgFCPat4cSLMTp9c9A?sub_confirmation=1
