As with all IQ Pro programming, these step-by-step programming instructions are handled through the IQ Installer App. The main thing to remember when adjusting user codes on your IQ Pro is that when using the installer app, the type of user code changes depending on the code you use to "sign in" to the installer app. For example, signing in with the master code allows you to change the master code and all lower-level user codes, while signing in with the installer you're able to change the installer code, master code and lower users. The Dealer code is the highest level of access the system will provide, so if you want access to always be able to adjust any setting or code in the system, always sign in to the installer app with the Dealer code if you have it. This video will walk you through how to alter the existing codes that come default on the system, as well as how to add new codes, set expiration dates for those codes, and how to delete codes. It should cover anything and everything you'll need to manage your IQ Pro's users. Keep in mind, if you are not the installer for your IQ Pro alarm system, you may only have access to the Master and User codes. Generally Installation style companies do not relinquish the Installer or Dealer codes to end users.
