Join us as this group will focus on open source projects within the AEC industry and the challenges that come with it. We will hear from some of the developers behind a few of the most widely used open source projects in the AEC industry, and discuss how they approach such projects. We will consider how to engage a user base that consists of architects and engineers who may not be expert coders, and discuss what we can learn from other industries that have more successfully adapted open source platforms.
