This song is about me being diagnosed with Bipolar 2. I was just fine, with no symptoms at all, until I broke my leg and had to have two surgeries. The severe trauma from the break caused or unlocked mild bipolar 2, which is apparently common with trauma and underlying mental health disorders. I’ve been on meds for it since April 2023 and it has changed my life for the better. (Bipolar 2 used to be known as manic depressive, which my mother had.)
