it drives you crazy getting old

I don’t really know what this video is about, but I’m going to do my best to explain. This video simply put - is just a weekend on film. The past few years I've spent traveling the world and making videos, and it's been amazing. But I started to lose the spark I had when I first started. What made me love filming in the first place. So I decided one weekend, to just take my camera around with me like I used to when I was 16. It was on my shoulder the entire time, ready to capture any moment that sparked something inside of me. The shots are moody and artistic, but it’s all real life captured. Even down to dyeing Davis’ hair pink at 1 am and telling him to get in the shower because I had an idea for a cool shot. This wasn’t forced, it just flowed. One of my favorite songs of all time is “Ribs” by Lorde. The entire song speaks to me, but I really love the part where the music starts to pick up and she sings “I want em back, I want em back, the minds we had, the minds we had.” This is such a specific time in my life that I already ache to have back. I’m currently living in this season of life, but I already miss it. I already want it back. Davis, Kenzie, Brandon and I are all at different phases in our lives but I think it’s pretty special that we all intertwine with each other’s at the moment. And that’s what this video is. Its the intertwining.
