The electronic item Release Unit DIN/DOUT 24V allows you to stop, separate and release small load carriers (SLCs) on roller conveyors with precision. That means you can build automated conveyor lines that incorporate the selective release of containers or smart interaction with SLC lifts. The product also supports efficient material flows with mobile and stationary robots. Up to three Release Units can be operated together in a chain. Thanks to integrated control logic, they take care of release and separation processes in material supply operations independently. The Release Unit combines three functions in one compact housing – an electrically operated bar, sensor technology and logic processing. The bar ensures that SLCs with stacking edges can be held securely in place or released for onward travel. The optical sensor identifies whether the container has left the waiting zone and detects any faults in the process.
