It's All Over

It's All Over This video took me about three hours to complete and it was a spur of the moment thought. I really really love Three Days Grace and when I heard this song, I wanted to do something with it but I didn't know what, until I thought of our lovely Light and the end of this song fit him so much to ignore. So I decided to do it and dedicate it to my dear friend Geena aka TheLightofL because she felt bad for Light at the end of the last episode. (I didn't...) Basically, the idea of this video was to show how Light just spun out of control after he killed L. He went cracked and became cold blooded (more than usual.) He began to slowly dig his own grave and in the end, he killed himself. The line "and now your dead inside" was what sparked this video. I remember the writers for Death Note said that as soon as Light got his hands on the death note, he was ruined. Utterly ruined, and there was no turning back from that point. So I tried to show that by using clips where he's either manipulating someone or watching someone die with no remorse or regret. It's kinda sad actually, when you think back on it and realize how he destroyed his life. For me, I think that Light was always corrupt, even before he got that note. There was something evil inside him and the power the death note gave him was like a catalyst, fuelling that dormant fire. Regardless, he just couldn't be saved and he didn't want to. I tried to show his corruption on the line "and now your dead inside" by making the clip of him twitch to somehow resemble that something is off about Light. The twitch in the clip is made fast to show that the evil inside Light isn't obvious to others. On the other hand, he was like two different people when he lost his memories, so maybe he was innocent and kind. Hope you like it Geena! And I love Adam Gontier.
