Get to know J Beatz, he's a don and deserves your support. "The theme of the "333" EP was to make dubstep that's weighty and rhythmic while incorporating incorporating elements of dub and grime. As primarily a grime producer, I find it important to include elements of grime in my dubstep tracks. This is the World I'm coming from and I'm bringing my own unique take on the sound. I also don't want to sound like everyone else and I want to bring something new to the table. I'm going against the rules and doing what I wanna do. I also make a concentrated effort to incorporate dub in my dubstep tracks, As I find it a missing key component in dubstep. I simply think it's missing and we need to hear more of it. So I'm going to make an effort to include these elements. The title track of the EP "333" is an ode to the club in Shoreditch which used to host classic dubstep nights in the 2000s. I started "333" with the bass line, which instantly reminded me of old school dubstep. I wanted to hone in on this vibe as well by adding the dub guitar lick. "Creatine" is a weighty dubstep/grime hybrid track that can fit in a dubstep rave or a set with grime MC's. The bass is straight dubstep with elements of grime in the drum programming to make it more rhythmic than your average dubstep track. I close the EP with "Mad House" which is a mad wobbler with some grimy drums and dub elements too!
