Jack-Shaft installed to slow the SPM down. I think these are under-utilized and should be installed more on wells that have large pumping units but where the run time/production have fallen off with time. You can run a long stroke unit nice and slow (like 3.5 SPM x 168"): I have seen more of this done up north in North Dakota area than I have seen it done in Texas.
