UPDATE: 1/16/2021 JACKROUTER IS BACK - On Windows, JACK-Router (the special ASIO driver that allows any ASIO-compatible application to talk to other JACK clients) has been brought back, now integrated with the installer so it is much easier to manage. JackRouter is the name of the new asio driver that will appear in your list of asio sound cards. The basic setup for installing JACK AUDIO CONNECTION KIT in windows is shown, and how to manually register the jackrouter.dll is demonstrated. Kxstudio's jack audio connection bays are also used to show you how to wire everything up, in order to use a midi keyboard, and a VSTi instrument, VST effects, and also record everything with AUDACITY. The highlight of this tutorial is using a brand new software app from VB-AUDIO - the VB-AUDIO ASIO BRIDGE. The VB-AUDIO ASIO BRIDGE, provides a unique and breakthrough technology to connect audio from any NON ASIO audio application directly intto the ASIO JACK AUDIO CONNECTION BAY, allowing one to use any NON ASIO app to interconnect and combine with any or all ASIO AWARE APPS inside the kxstudio/jackaudio connection bays.
