Smart-Track™ encourages natural water flow and drainage, eliminating "mud-pumping" issues that traditional ballasted railways are prone to. With improved air flow over and through the Smart-Track™ blocks, track temperatures are kept cooler. The system also uses existing sleepers.
Fully insulated, Smart-Track™ is also totally re-usable, making it ideal for short-term mines and other situations where long-term track is not required. With 40T+ axle load carrying capacity, this flexible design is also lighter for bridge applications which further increases your load carrying capacity.
