John 1:12 KJV 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Hey everyone. Bible verse of the week is John 1:12. It says that to all who receive Jesus and believe in His name, He gives the right to become children of God. Becoming a child of God isn’t something we earn through good works, effort, or trying to be perfect. It comes through receiving and believing in Jesus Christ. When we place our faith in Him, we are welcomed into God’s family. We are no longer separated or distant — we are His children. That means we belong to Him, we are loved by Him, and we have a new identity through Christ. Receive Him, believe in Him, and rest in the peace of knowing you are a child of God. Amen.
