John 8:45-9:16

Last week we went on a fairly in-depth study on the identity of the sons of Cain, which began in the Garden of Eden. Noting that the Kenites (the sons of Cain), is not the Canaanites which lived in the land of Canaan before Joshua lead the Israelites into the promised land. It is true that the Kenites lived among the Canaanites, but so did many other nations. Just briefly, I’m going to read 1 Chron. 2:55 to show that the Kenites were already attached to the tribe of Judah roughly 1000 bc. Chapter 2 gives the chronology of the tribe of Judah, then at the end of Judah’s the genealogy, it lists the Kenites. This is an interesting link that speaks of the survivors of Noah's flood. I don't agree with every detail but it does open ours eyes to one way the sons of Cain survived Noah's flood, besides the 8 Adamites that survived (2 Peter 2:5).
