Cross Country Fellowship Bible Study of the Book of John. This session covered John chapter 19 verses 23 to 42. These verses describe Jesus on the cross. We discussed John's perspective of this event and also Matthew and Luke's perspective. Jesus death and resurrection were the single most important events in the history of mankind. Everything before and after cannot compare. Jesus' death and resurrection made a way for us to gain freedom from our slavery to sin and our death sentence caused by our sin.
